Tour Sign Ups

Thank you to everyone who's asked and patiently waited for Mundie Moms Blog Tours sign ups. PLEASE READ the entire post before signing up for tours.

* A quick note about blog tours: I have received a lot of questions lately from bloggers wondering why they've not been invited to be on tours, and why many tours weren't open for sign ups. My answer is explained below, but I also wanted to answer here, since this is a long post. Not all blog tours are open to sign ups on the blog, and because of this, do not get listed here on the blog until the tour is ready to start. Often times I have requests to use bloggers who have a history with my tours. Other times I have requests from the author/publisher to use bloggers of their choosing. When these requests happen, I keep the tour "closed" meaning it's not open for sign ups.

You can check out what upcoming tours I have here

I've included a list of information about my previous blog tour below.  PLEASE READ through this entire post before you sign up. I hope my bluntness doesn't leave room for any confusion. :) The purpose of this sign up is to put your name on a list to become a part of the various blog tours I host. Not every tour I host is open. Some of the tours I have scheduled are already booked, and for other reasons I may only use the blogs I've used since I started my tours, or it may be requested that I use those set blogs. For the tours that are *open* I will be sending out email blasts from this list about the tour.

Sign Ups

It doesn't matter if you're a big or little blog, everyone is looked at the same to be on my tours. International fans are also welcome to join, but please note I won't be able to assign reviews to you since publishers don't send internationally.

If you're signing up for my blog tours to get an ARC, don't even bother to signing up. Blog tours are run to support a book whether you get an ARC or not. Most of my tours have ARCs that are provided for those who review stops on the tour. In some cases no ARCs/Books are given out at all and in some cases an an E-ARC. I do not host ARC tours any more for my tours, as in the past ARCs would get lost in the mail or arrive much later than it was suppose to.

Your signing up on the tour does NOT guarantee you a spot on the tour. I work closely with the authors and or publishers when running each of my tours, and they always have the final approval with the tour over all (ie. who's on the tour, the schedule etc). Often times it's requested I work with the bloggers who have been apart of my tours before, and other times it's a mixture of existing bloggers and new ones. There are times they send me a list of bloggers they'd like to be on the tour, and other times it's from a list of bloggers they ask me to select. In those cases, NO tour signs up are posted on the blog. Generally the tours are set up this way, however some tours will be based on first come, first serve in response to the email blast that will be sent out.

** With the large number of sign up requests I do receive with open tours, I have put a cap of 50 requests for the tours. Once that number is reached, I do close the tours, so I can look through every request. Because these are only 1-2 week tours there, and depending on how many spots are open, there are only 3-7 spots on the tour that are open, as invitations for previous tours bloggers have been accepted.

You will know a few weeks out (and sometimes more) before a blog tour has started if you've been selected. Unfortunately now that I've opened up the tours to a limited number of blogs I don't have the time to email everyone that wasn't selected. You will always be contacted if you were selected for a tour.

Blog tour stops are limited. I do have a core group of blogs that have been on my tours since the beginning and I do invite them to be on the various tours I'm working on first. I also leave a select number of spots open for new blogs. Having said that, not every blog who's been on my tours is among that select few. Outside of my core group, I do my best to treat everyone fairly. *see Your signing up on the tour does NOT guarantee you a spot on the tour for more info*

Tours:

The purpose of a tour is to promote a book. If for any reason you don't like the book and you're assigned a review stop, you need to let me two weeks or more before your stop. This gives me time to come up with something different for your stop or try and change assignments. Don't feel bad if you don't like the book, not everyone likes the same books :)

* Tours are a combination of reviews (spoiler free), guest posts, author and character interviews, excepts and giveaways.

There are no sign ups for assignments. I work on those myself and send out an email with the schedule once the author/publisher has looked at it and okayed it. Though you are more than welcome to specify what you're most comfortable doing, and some times a tour sign up will have the option for you to select what you're interested in hosting.

Each blog is required to post their tour stop the morning/day of their tour Each stop needs to include the information given to them prior to the tour starting. This will include the link to the post I've made on my blog about the tour, the cover of the book, synopsis, author links, links to buy the book etc. These posts need to be posted by 10 am EST. I do visit each stop on my tours to leave you a comment as well as to collect your link to post it on my blog under the tour post itself. Blogs who fail to post without notifying me will be removed from my tours.

Be professional and Keep it clean. The author, publishers, fans, and in some cases movie studios will be following the tour. Please be sure your post is clean from anything offensive language etc. Your post needs to be family friendly and posted on a family friendly site.

Other:

* I do not get paid, nor do I make anything from my tours that are featured here on this site. I started the tours as way to help promote the books I love. Those who take part in my tours do not get paid for their part in the tour.

* I reserve the right to ban blogs from my tours that do not fulfill their agreements with the blog tours.

I know this seems like a lot, and it wasn't meant to scare anyone away. I needed to cover all the bases before anyone signed up. If you have any questions about this, please let me know. You can email me at Katie- mundiemomsblogtours AT gmail.com

SIGN UPS: (you are required to read through the rules/guidelines listed above before you sign up for any tour).

    1. Hi Beckie! It was, but I had so many requests, that I decided the best way to go about it is to have individual tour sign ups. I've not posted any new ones just yet.

    1. Yes, for individual tours. I received way more requests than I had excepted for the over all tours, so to make it easier I'm going to do individual tours.
